Ce matériau fonctionne mieux sur les voitures de course légères à moyennes à haute puissance où une résistance à la décoloration et une durée de vie plus élevées sont souhaitables par rapport à Yellowstuff. Malgré un frottement à froid acceptable rendant ce matériau utilisable dans la rue, le frottement à chaud est jugé trop élevé pour l'homologation ECE R90 et donc ce matériau n'est pas légal sur la route en Europe.
Tous les composés EBC sont améliorés avec des GRANULES CÉRAMIQUES, ce qui en fait une véritable gamme de plaquettes de mise à niveau haut de gamme pour tous les véhicules.
