Cette paire de couvertures turbo Forge est conçue pour le N54 et conçue pour isoler la chaleur rayonnante produite par le turbocompresseur. Conçue par l'équipe de développement Forge sur la voiture de course Forge VW Golf MK1 dans les environnements les plus difficiles et dépassant toutes les attentes, la couverture turbo Forge est conçue pour aider à la protection et prolonger la durée de vie des composants du moteur.

La conception unique aidera à réduire le décalage du turbo et à produire des températures d'admission d'air plus fraîches. La couverture turbo Forge perdra sa flexibilité au cours des premiers cycles de chaleur au fur et à mesure que le matériau durcit, donc une fois installé, il devrait ne pas être régulièrement retiré car vous risquez d'endommager la couverture.
L'innovation de conception maintient la chaleur des gaz d'échappement contenus dans le côté chaud du turbocompresseur, loin du côté froid et du chemin d'admission.
Plus d'oxygène par unité de volume atteint le moteur, donnant ainsi plus de puissance.
